The Authentic English Tea Experience

What a wonderful, authentic British Tea experience, featuring mouthwatering home-baked savoury and sweet tea treats, perfectly brewed tea, with warm, friendly and attentive service, in such cozy and inviting surroundings. This place deserves more than 5 stars.

We had a beautiful experience at the Escarpment Tea Room. I took my girlfriend for her 75th Birthday, it was her first High Tea experience. Edwina and her staff presented a lovely variety of finger sandwiches and sweet treats for us with Birthday candle and singing. She was thoroughly take with the high tea experience in this quaint tea establishment. 😊

I had an Afternoon Tea Bridal Shower for my daughter and it was a fun and amazing experience. Edwina was an excellent hostess and the food exquisite. Definitely recommend The Escarpment Tearoom for a special event or an Afternoon Tea with someone special. Many Thanks Edwina and to your staff for a wonderful day.

You can't beat the loving care in the preparation & service by Edwina! So much attention to every detail in the most delicious Tea & elegant setting, a photographic delight. Plenty of parking. I brought a group of 16 this time & everyone felt really looked after, including our lady with no gluten. I rarely write reviews but I am compelled to recommend & urge everyone to make a booking not only for special occasions but just Tea & a chat with a friend or 2.

First time at the tea room. Edwina warmly welcomed us and before long, we were enjoying a refreshing cuppa. We were then served a three-tiered plate of delectable fancy sandwiches and savouries, followed by equally scrumptious sweet treats, including scones with clotted cream and preserves. A lovely afternoon with delightful company. Highly recommend!

Went to this tea room to celebrates a friend’s 70th birthday. Edwina was very accommodating. We needed to go a half hour earlier than she normally starts and she was fine with that. The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived until the minute we left. She had a large assortment of teas…definitely something for everyone. The sandwiches were wonderful as were the scones and the pastries, tarts and cookies. Definitely worth the drive to Milton.
